VHO vs MHS
what is the difference from VHO and MHS lighting. Is one better then the other?

read some of the threads but to put it shortly, MH are more of a pin pointed source that can penetrate deeper for higher intensity, VHO give off a wider sprey of light.MH's are kind of a spot light.

ummm reflector basicly grabs all of the bulbs radience which is being wasted pointing upwards and focus's it downwards it just increases efficiency, but yes i spose u COULD have it more directed but mainly every bulb should have a reflector to be more efficeint, like...why light up ur roof if u want it to light ur aquarium?
