Skimmer for nano?

I have been considering getting a skimmer for my 14 biocube. I read that small tanks do not need skimmers, but I have been considering getting one anyway.
What is the best skimmer for a 14 gallon tank?

They aren't really needed, but if you are going to get some, read the reviews. it's hard to go wrong when there are many customers that love it or hate it. What makes you think you need one? What diff to your routine do you think it'll make?

My tank is doing great without a skimmer but, I just have been reading a lot about them lately and have read over and over again that an essential part of a saltwater tank is the protein skimmer, so I thought that I needed to get one.

It'll help you be a little lazyer, but if you are doing routine changes and not over feeding and you don't have a lot of fish, you won't need it. You can, but i don't see a point. It's kinda pointless, there's also an issue of them not having a lot of contact time to get the nutrients out of the water. Your choice, but i don't think i'd ever get one for anything less then 20g if that. This is a personal pref, others will say the opposite, but if it's not broke, then why fix it?

Ah, yes this is true. I am going to trash my plan for a skimmer. My tank is doing great, I just thought a skimmer would make it even better .
