Should my Metal Halide lighting be Sunny?

I just installed a 250 watt metal halide bulb in my hood. Previously I only had 2 coral life flourescents and 1 actinic blue. The lighting was bright white. Now with the addition of the metal halide bulb, my tank looks really sunny (yellowish). I installed a Iwasaki MT250DL-E39/41R which I purchased from marine depot. I have never seen one of these bulbs before but have read that they are good for reef tanks, which is my ultimate goal. So, should my lighting have this sunny look?

it all depends on the temp of the bulb. if its 10K it or less it tends to be on the more yellow side.
