setting up refugium

New to saltwater fish. I have a 46gal. bow front, 2 seio m620 powerheads,300watt heater aquaC Remora w.maxijet 1200and a Fluval 205. In the tank now i have livesand. My levels are good. I was about to buy 50lbs. of lr and then started thinking about setting up a refugium. I have a 15gal. that i could use a refugium but not sure how to set it up and if the equipment i have already is good enough?
thanks in advance

a refugium for what? if its fish like a quarantine tank, then you need a filter, power head and protein skimmer, wich you also need for your big tank. if its to cure the live rock, then you should do that in your main tank when you set it up. you need the power heads to blow water towards the rock as much as possible. can someone else help if i missed anything
