Cory, I don't quite understand what you're trying to do? Are you wanting to use an Ro sytem just for water changes? Or are you wanting one that is in line with your filtration system?

Sorry...I'm looking for an RO system for water changes. I wanted to know if they make ones that will hook up to the sink the same way the python does. How it just attatches to the spigot. I can't do one that hooks up under the sink because that's where my pots and pans are. And I can't do a full system because I live in apartments. Do they make such things? I've heard of countertop systems but are they OK for fish?

Not sure if this is what your looking for

Faucet Adapter Diverter Valve RO DI Water System FILTER - eBay (item 120401904412 end time Oct-01-09 13:46:37 PDT)

RO/DI for the reef tank is great, RO water for drinking is even better. You can get a 5-6 stage RO/DI and full the RO/DI filter tank with RO for household, With the use of a few ball valves, Tees & some hose full 5G jugs without using the filters tank of pure RO/DI for your Reef Tank.

I have used the diverter above when checking for leak's before installing filter unit under the sink, there is also one made to use on a garden/washing machine spigot.

it's in the same ball park, but I need the RO unit itself to do that. I'm looking for something exactly like this Aquarium Water Quality: Tap Water Filter but makes RO water instead.

RO/DI units Are Big, get very heavy & at almost 2/1 waste i think a regular RO/DI unit connected will work.
That unit posted doesn't lower your taps TDS very much, pretty well useless for a reef. Its like a brita.

Maybe one of these?

NP. If you don't have one invest in a TDS meter, that unit is small.
