recommended powerhead?

im starting a 55 gallon tank but i need a list of power heads i should use and how many should i use and where should i place them in the tank

The number and flow rate depends on your livestock and setup.

What are these "beginner fishes?" We need to know the species. Some like a lot of flow, some dont.

+1. They put out different flwo rates at different times, whcih makes it like a wavemaker in a way. In a 55, I would have 2 or 3 #3's.

i just ordered some maxi jets 600 i just got two of them do you think that will work? like clown fish, some Cardinal and maybe some other ones but iono which one
