Question on Turbo Twist Sterilizer

What kind of tubing are you using to your turbo twist. I have tried 5/8 x 3/4 and 5/8 x 7/8 and nothing seems to work with the manufactueres locking nut mechanism. Could use hose clamps but it but the land for the clamp is way too narrow. Nothing to be found in the manufactuers literature.

I have never used the Turbo Twist personally. Have you tried to email or call the manufacturer. I have found most manufacturers in the aquarium market to be extremely responsive.

turbo twist sucks -- honestly you're betting off buying something a bit more traditional. I've had one for my FW tank a long time ago, and within 2 months of use it broke -- no refund, HUGE waste -- gotta read on reviews as well online.

it's all just a gimmick -- get a traditional with a water pump, you'll be better off -- and change the bulbs very probably 5-6 months.
