Cool Need Help with a New overflow

I am going to be purchasing a new custom aquarium. It's it going to 48 wide x 48 Deep x 24 High. I will have a center overflow that will be drilled with (2) - 1" Supply holes and (2) - 3/4" return Holes. Since this tank is a square I'm not quite sure how to create a perfect flow for a reef tank without using addtional powerheads in the tank. I will be using an ecosystem refugium with two submersable pumps at 1900 gph each. ( it'll be about 1400 gph once it get's to the top of the overflow)

I would greatly appreciate some imput on this.

welcome to the forum. the tank has some awesome dementions. if i was in your position i would personally do a closed loop which basically is holes drilled in the bottom of the tank ( granted it isnt tempered glass )

You then plumb a "loop" hooked to an external pump. If the power fails the water will not drain if it is built properly. This creates flow throughout your tank without having powerheads, or atleast minimal need for extra flow. this is something to consider. if it is not going to be viewed from all four sides you can always put powerheads on either side of the tank or the back wall.

im looking foward to seeing pictures of this build as it progresses.
