lightning question

before i get to the question, in need to give a history of the tank. its a 72g bow front, saltwater, emp. 400 filter, red sea prot skimmer. after a divorce, the tank was drained (not by me), the 25 lbs or so was put in 5 g buckets, one with water one with out , in 40 degree weather for about 3 days.
i set up my tank in the new place as fast as i could , but almost everything was dead.....almost.
5 months later the lr is making a slow comeback, the clams are Still alive!!! tiny srimp have emerged from the rock and some type of small feather dusters., so here is the question...im running 2 48" t8 hoods, ( they were given to me for free) 2 10000k and 2 atantic bulbs, IS HAVING THE 2CD HOOD BENIFITING ME AT ALL? WHAT LIFE LIMITS ARE WITH T8 OF THIS NATURE? ( it gonna be a good 5 months or so before i can upgrade the lighting, any suggestions on that?)
