try to match it with the day so it simulates real time living...about 11:30-2 o clock in the day should have maximum intensity

If you have SPS corals that is not going to meet there lighting needs as most SPS corals come from around the equator or close by. Its 12 hours of daylight near the equator. Your daylights should be on 6-8hrs a day and your actinics should be on for 12.
