Since you are running FOWLR, it is still a bit low, but it wont hurt. I do beleive (IMO), that FOWLR should have at least 1WPG, so I think you are low. Someone else may disagree though. However, if you want to keep corals ever, you need to upgrade your lighting.
You would need at least 3WPG, if not more. That is for the bare-minimum softies. You also need a fixture/bulbs that has 10000k-20000k. I have also noticed that fish seem to act better when kept under "proper" light.
As for night lights, definatley not nessicary. It looks cool, and some say it helps coral growth. Not needed unless you want it.
thank you for the help, can i just change my bulb, or do I need to buy a whole new lighting fixture? And my lamp, just lays on my hood, should I get some sort of mount as in the one that was posted in this thread?
Well, how soon are you upgrading to corals? It may be easier to get this out of the way now then later down the road. A single bulb switch can do nothing.

Coral I probaly will not add for another month to 2, my live rock has not turned color yet. Dimensions, about 20" w x 30" l x about 48" deep, give or take a couple inches on each of those. I will measure it if you need me to.
But, would you want to spend money on two fixtures, or just get the reef now and get it over with so you are ready? I can find you a good fixture if you would like.

"It can only support one bulb, so maybe I will need to get a new lighting system all together?"
Actually two bulb hood system, some ppl have mushroom, anemone and corals, it is very beautiful when the JBL marine blue is turn on at night, becos u can see some green luminous light from the coral and anemone whereas for fish they dun really bother jus need a bright light to reduce stress so tat they are not scare to hide.
Because tat's d fish natural instinct they sense danger when the water is dark without proper lighting.
That's why it is normally recommended for brighter lighting, also it benefit the corals and anything wiv life.
Again, thank you to both, I will definitely purchase that lighting, will measure in the morning to make sure it will fit. Will better lighting also help my LR grow coralline algae. Right now it is still greyish white, with a couple light light green spots, and some brown spots(BUT the brown is like a dust brown) most likely the sand my d goby kicks up, will this stop coralline algae from growing?
You can either go for chiller, or 1 hp air cond, as electricity consumption are equal, well if u have 1 hp additional wall mounted air condition, definitely it will benefit the people as well.
Actually u shud set a timer, so taht the aircond will be on on a specific time to make the water cool.
that lighting you recommended, does it have that blue haze that people recommend? Also where can I get one that has the stands that attached to the sides of the tank?
