Arg I typed up a post last night for this thread but somehow managed to not post it and lost it. Oh well. Take a look at this thread, it implements the same light on a 75G tank and shows some of the corals you can keep under it. http://www.tropicalfishkeeping.com/saltwater-fish-pictures-videos/princesuhaibs-75g-build-22900/ Princesuhaibs started with a smaller lamp and upgraded to the one you speak of. Its also a great build thread, well worth the read!
I know that this is about $160 more than the original fixture you posted, but this is a better option. Current USA only makes this unit in a 48", so you are lucky there. This has 8 bulbs, and Lunar lights. If I were running a 75 gallon reef, I would choose this fixture in a second. Don't get me wrong, I personally run the Nova Extreme Pro 72" model on my 150 gallon reef (LPS and Softies, Inverts, I have an RBTA and a rock Anenome, and Fish). I love it. Nobody is reaching for light and the aquarium is lit up nicely.
@ wake: I'll defanintly have to look into that, I had been considering an 8x54
