Lighting a 92 Corner...

I have a 92 gal. corner tank with a few fish and some live rock. I'm looking at putting corals in eventually and I want to get the most bang for my buck. I'm not sure what corals I'm going to end up getting but I want my options open. Now as for the tank, it's about 23" from water surface to sand. So I need something that will penetrate far enough. Also, as for right now, I don't have the option of hanging anything. I have my TV mounted to the wall aove the tank. I'm trying to convince my girlfriend to make a big move and let me put the tank in the living room but I'm still not sure if she'll go for drilling into the ceiling. Anyways, who's got the answer? I'm listening...!

Side note: if you've ever seen a 92 know that space is limited when it comes to the opening at the top. Keep this is mind: I currently have a 36" double strip and a 24" double strip (T5) on the tank.

Huh, don't you think that your screen name is a little inappropriate? I'm not personally offended, but what if there is some fishkeeping person of the cloth on here?

Anyway, your best bet would be to make a mod off the back of the stand that you can hang the light from. Click Here for an example of what I am talking about.

HardCory's Avatar's a mix between the Simpsons and a sick humor. I'll change it if I'm going to get booted but otherwise, I've had this name so long it's just what I use. Anwhoozle, I like the hanging idea off the stand itself. Seems like such a simple thing to do. Can I get enough watts in using something other than MH? They're just so expensive, bulky and well...HOT! I started looking into LEDs and I found this site:
I called them and left a message to see what they're specifications are and to see if they can make something custom. I figured putting $500 into something like that makes more sense than anything else. If you check the site, let me know if it seems like a good idea or too good to be true.

i personally like t5s but a tank of this shape may be best with halides and a few actinics of some sort.

move the tv away from the fish tank as it will stress the fish.
