Disclosure: I am not intending to be critical, but rather to save you a TON of money.
This is a great question, but a bad question for a forum. The care of corals requires, without exception, that you do some serious research ahead of time. It is critical that you read and educate yourself on these animals prior to purchase. Corals are extremely sensive creatures and their care can not be taken lightly.
The terms LPS and SPS are the most basic terms utilized every day in the reef hobby. This term is almost as basic as the word "water" and shows that you have not taken the time to research your project. I highly suggest that you buy a couple of books, or utilize your local library. Here are a couple of good suggestions:
"The Reef Aquarium" by Jullian Sprung and Chalres Delbeck. It is a 3 part series and is the #1 authority in the hobby today.
"Aquarium Corals: Selection, Husbandry, and Natural History" by Eric Borneman. This book is your field guide to coral care, including topics such as water flow requirement, lighting needs, feeding issues, and overall difficulty of care.
