How many powerheads?

I have a 125 gallon Reef Tank and a 20 gallon sump (soon to be upgraded to 55 gallon sump).

I have a 500 gph return powerhead from the sump to the display tank, and a 640 gallon powerhead in the display tank itself.

Do I need more circulation? If so how much more? What kind of powerheads would you recommend?

Should I point the powerheads directly at the live rock or around it?

Also, do I need any air bubbles (the kind used in freshwater tanks)?

Thanks

First no air bubbles, ok then they say you should have at least 10x your tank size so 125x10=1250gps now if you are going to have corals then you should have 125x20=2500gps cause they are going to need the flow and lots of it. so i'd say korilia for a stream pump or Maxi Jets 1200 if you want to be serious and money is still on an issue then go with Ecotecs MP40 or MP20. Just one will put out 3300gps and it has a wave mode with no wave box as others like the Maxi Jets will require.

Now for placement, Don't point directly at the rocks you want random flow. Many like to bounce flow off glass which i find works well. then you have the others that like to point at each other(which'll make a nice sand storm) but you're going for random. if you can't get the Ecotec then get a wave box and there are many DIY waveboxes that you can find too.
