Hob closed loop

Is it ok to hang the closed loop from the tank? What i meen is it ok to have the pumps wight supported by the tank, opposed to having the pump sit on a flat surface. Im gunna use a iron stand so i wont have any room to place the pump down. Im just worried it might break the glass.

It'll be alright. think of the giant sized HOT filters and skimmers. Hold it all under water to fill it, plug the holes with your fingers and raise it into position. Hopefully it should start ok.
