help pump hummm

I have a little giant pump I used PVC on all my connections. I have a loud humming sound. Is there any way to eliminate or minimize this sound.

check if the little rubber"nipples" are in place on the impeller parts i lost some down the sink and the pump sounded like a jet taking off

I might also be cavitating.

Did you use the recommended size of tubing?

Well it dosn't sound like a jet but it is anoing.

It is a 1inch in & out and I am using a 1 inch pipe in and out.
