Unhappy help metal halides melting my center brace on my 125

i just bought an odysea 72" 1150watt metal halide system for my 125gallon and the center bulb is melting my center brace what can i do to prevent this with out keeping the light off, i heard something like wrapping aluminum foil around the center brace to dissipate heat . i need some suggestions every one please help

1)You need to hang halides.

2) If you are buying an Odysea, which I don't know why you bought in the first place (you get what you pay for), you need to change the ballast up. See this:
