My profession is actually an electrical engineer so i try to design/do things to help me keep my tank as automated as possible. once i understand the requirements i try to figure out how to get it done automatically. right now my tank runs on a ca reactor, diy auto topoff with diy kalk reactor, all lights are automated and run thru dawn, midday ,dusk then moon lights, auto fish feed I designed my sump and tank myself. to be honest the entire tank, sump, filtration system was designed, hand built either by myself or a custom builder and really thought out to make servicing and up keep as simple as possible. right now the only intervention is to do my test kit, and 10% water change every other week. i'm a lazy person at heart so i need automation! lol |
