Clams?

My wife brought home a Crocea clam today from the LFS....My question is I have a 48" Coralfe Aqualife Compact which probably it wont do well under, so if I upgrade "Nova Extreme T-5, will this beable to keep it healthy or should I look at purchasing Metal Halide light system????

Is that the Extreme, or Extreme PRO? The 48" Extreme Pro has six 54 watt bulbs. I kept a clam in a 46 bow with no problem under the 36" Extreme Pro.

I love that light. I switched from Metal Halide TO the Extreme Pro, and was happier with it from day one. I think that T5's run sooo much more efficiently than MH. I think you'll be happy with it also. :~)
