chiller test help

Well I was just wondering so today I took the hose from my chiller that is returning to the tank and I filled a glass with the water coming directly out of the return line from the chiller and put a thermometer in the water for 10 min.

If anyone else has a chiller can they please try this same test for Me, and send the results. My chiller is set to 80 degrees but the water coming out of the chiller should be much cooler then that. well it was not much cooller.

So please let me know.

Thanks Roger

Have you been getting the same results with your temperature tests? It might have just been a time when the tank was a little too warm and the chiller was tryinh to conpensate or maybe it needs a little tweak to the thermostat.
