can a household RO unit work for aquariums?

well, can a household r/o unit work for aquariums?
i dont see why not, but is there such thing as water being "too pure?"

No such thing as being too pure. It would be great if we can get TDS to exactly zero.

Use the TDS meter and as long as it reads as 0 then it's fine to use. there's Lab grade water and that's cleaner then the water we use with the OR/DI
