bulkhead size

so after doing research for a non-drilled tank, i happened to come across a used tank with pre-drilled holes. great more research. i'm confused at the bulkhead sizings and fittings. i have a 1 3/4" hole that requires a bulkhead, but when looking online, the bulkheads vary tremendously in hole sizes even though they are the same size for piping. can anyone help point me in the right direction to find the appropriate bulkhead? i also want a heavy duty bulkhead. i'd rather over-engineer stuff and not have to worry about it later!

You'll want a 1" bulkhead. Thats pretty common, the 1 3/4" hole with the 1" bulkhead. That should supply you with a max flow of about 600-700 gph per outlet.
