Broken Pump

I had a Rio 600 running on my sump (for a small tank), and it quit working today. I don't want to buy another Rio pump, I would like to get a Quiet One pump, but Quiet One pumps are GPH, Rio is LPH. Which model do you think I will need?

Quiet One small pump models:

Model Max Head Fittings GPH Watts
1200 6.1 ft 1/2" MPT 296 25.5
2200 9.8 ft 1" MPT 581 41
3000 10 ft 1" MPT 780 40

The Rio 600 has a flow rate of 200 GPH (according to their site) so the QO 800 or 1200 are the closest to the same flow, though the 800 is for wet use only. Hope this helps. I'm just saying this based on the flow rates though.

Ok, thanx. The sump doesn't use in-line pumps, so it doesn't matter whether it is wet only or not. I will probably get the QO 800. Thanx for your help.

Look into Eheim for the longest running, energy efficient, and quietest pumps available.
