| | AquaC Pro Skimmer Question....
i have just purchased a new aquac pro w/the rio 1400 pump. The instructions are very nondiscriptive and dont really show how to install everything. I assumed the skimmer was a plug and play.
I bought this one: AquaC Urchin Pro Protein Skimmer With Rio 1400 - eBay (item 180286305852 end time Apr-03-09 17:39:37 PDT)
From what i understand, all i need to do is remove the wraping install the pump and plug it in?
Do i need to install any of the attatchments that came with the pump?
Also, i'd love to know why they said that you need 3 1/4" behind the tank to fit the pump - when it actually needs a lot more room so the stupid brace at the bottom of the skimmer can fit as well  . I think i may just cut that off so my tank isnt popping out so far.
