substrate creatures

Im wondering if its normal to find things in the substrate, on 2 occasions iv found a red leach type creature in my bucket after a water change, and i noticed today a white worm type creature pop up and back down again after my betta tried to get it.

Im curious as to whether theyr harmless or should be removed

iv just found out the red leach type thing is a tubifex

I have no idea the harm the tubifex worm could be, however I will say this, it is sold as fish food in many places as both frozen and freeze dried.

Can you get a picture of either?
