Hi,
This is my first post. I am a new fish lover from vancouver, BC, Canada.
I just started a couple months ago, with at first Betta fish for my kids in a bowl then moved on to getting a couple snails and some tetra in a 10 Gallon tank with some fake plants.
I really love fish but have no space for a big tank at the moment. I have since thrown away my fake plants and purchased quite a few real plants and driftwoods and rocks.
I also just purchased an API test kit yesterday.
Now I have a 10 G, also a 1.5 G tank for a Betta, and a 5 G tank for a small oranda. The goldfish is less than an inch long, I have some nana plants and 1 filter which is meant for a 10 G tank, and also a sponge filter in there. I will move the goldfish to a bigger tank when he gets bigger. My kids love the goldfish and he will actually eat off the hands of my youngest kid sometimes.
My 10 G tank now has a pair of cherry shrimps, a pea puffer, 2 apple snails, 1 zebra snails, 1 rubbernose pleco, and 1 Betta. My pea puffer does not nip any fin and does not even like to eat snails.
Anyway, I love visiting this forum and I will be looking forward to learning more.
Thank you...
