my jack dempsey hides alot?
i have a 4 inch female jack dempsey who use to be very active then became ill after she got well she started hideing alot . i noticed she only swam around in the dark and when the lights are turned on she hides is this normall ?
Yep.. it's normal for Jack Dempsey to hide in caves and in the dark. I saw a tank once with a 10" jack male an 8" female and over 30 fry that were 2-3". The tank was completly devoid of fish to look at. They were all hiding in the decorations lol.
o cool then i will get some better caves going for her then thanks
Mine hide all the time when I had them.
As Ladayen said, nothing to worry about, good idea on adding caves.
