what wont't otos eat?
I have 3 oto catfish and they do a great job of eating algea and being cute. However their is some small patches of green dots all over the glass of the aqurium is this algea or something I should clean off? The light is set for 10hrs so im gonna try and reduce to 6-7 and recives little natural light. Any suggestions

That sounds like what is appropriately called Green Dot Algae. No algae eating fish will touch it. Fortunately it is not too prolific, but it can appear as dots here and there. On the glass just scrape it off, a sturdy aquarium scraper will usually do the job, but if it is really stubborn or has been left a while, it might take a razor blade. Be careful not to scratch the glass. [And if the tank is acrylic, this will scratch it.]

I find that if you clean the front glass at every water change with one of those aquarium sponge-type utensils, it will catch this algae before you even see it.
