I bought this fish from a store.But i don't know what type of cichlid is this..:roll:

Looks like a south american cichlid...maybe some sort of flowerhorn breed?. best bet would be to call the petstore and ask. good luck

Male Texas cichlid would be my guess.

It is definitely a Texas Chichlid. It needs a 50 - 100gal tank.

It is not long enough in the body to be a true Texas cichlid.

It is actually a Herichthys carpintis or Green Texas Cichlid, can be called Pearlscale as well , there is a difference, Herichthys carpintis have smaller spots than a true Texas.
