Water Changes
 
I have a 46G tank that I recently started.........how much water should I change a week, 15%?

Depends on your bioload. What are the fish you are planning to put in it? 70-80% weekly is the maximum I would do. The more water changes performed, the better for the fish.

Not sure what kind of fish yet..........I thought smaller, more frequent water changes were better?

Depends on how often you perform water changes. If the bioload is light, a big water change weekly shouldn't hurt compared to a very heavy bioload where nitrates are already piling up dangerously.

bigger the better..... its a number game.... i do 50-75% often... nothing wrong with 90%
