hello everyone asking for a little advise i was thinking about buying this fish and want to know if it would be possible to put a group in one of my tanks

30 gallon long 36 in. 1 male FM 2 redtail rasboras 2 aus. rainbows striped peacock eel
29 gallon 30 in. long 1female opa gourami 1 male gold gourami 2 mollies

doesnt have to be a red eye tetra would like to have some but im just looking for some good tankmates that i could put with my current stock

In another thread I suggested increasing the rasbora and rainbow in the 30g as they need a group, so that leaves no room for anything else.

The 29g is possible. But this tetra has been known to nip, and gourami are tempting for that.

you think a group of six would be enough where they would just worry bout them selves in the 29 or go more than that and would the gouramis go after them they are sort of aggressive too i heard they are better with fish other than them selves they dont bother the mollies at all.

I would go with 7, but I just like odd numbers.

well there 3 for 5 bucks so thats why i said 6
