Arg! Cloudy again....

Hey all...My fish had ich ( :( ) so a couple of days ago I used the Jungle Ich clear tablets, within a day no more ich! It was great, but since then I've been cloudy again. I did change my filter, which may be part of the problem, but I can't get it to clear up. Water params are normal and I've been doing a couple water changes a day to try to give it a boost, nothing!

Any recommendations or just wait for it to work itself out?

hi
is there any chance you could place a bit of
fine netting over the filter to stop the bits,
or something that i did once was put some filter floss in
a clean unused stocking and hung it in the tank,
it looked a little strange, and got some funny comments
but it did the trick, and the fish enjoyed picking from it
HTH a bit :)

The ich medication probably killed the benificial bacteria, which caused a bacterial bloom (cloudy white color). Basically, it's like a mini-cycle. It will eventually clear on it's own.

Eddie, thank you for the information. Are my fish safe in the meanwhile?

Yeah, just monitor your water parameters closely.

Your tank had ich, too? Horrible, isn't it. And yeah, I was going to say the same thing about the meds killing your beneficial bacteria. keep your eye on the ammonia and nitrite levels. :)
