20 gal. long conversion
 

My little brother used to have a tortise in a 20 gallon long fish tank. Do you guys think that it would be all right if I cleaned it out and turned it into an aquarium? If you want any more info, just ask. Thanks!

If it's water tight, no there wouldn't be any problems. To clean the glass use vinager, you can do a 50/50 mix with water if you like but not necessary. Just be sure to rise well before filling.

My mom said that she bought it as a reptile terrarium, but it does have a silicone sealant. Ill fill it up and see what it holds. I was going to convert a 50 gallon to freshwater (from saltwater), but that would be too expensive to replace filtration and everything else. I want to turn my ten gallon into a fry rearing tank for the platies, and have the 20 be for the adults.
