First thing, move the wood either left or right. Any single object in the centre always makes it very obvious, and it makes the space seem smaller too. You can experiment with this, but one option I see would be to move it to the right so the thickest end is sort of coming out of the right rear corner, where the yellow rock now is, and angle it toward the centre/front a bit.

The crypt can stay where it is after you move the wood, unless it needs moving. The sword in the far left front should go into the left rear, about 3 inches out from the corner. This plant will grow to the surface, and look better in the back.

A general guide to plants, esp low growing ones; they always appear natural if they grow beside the ends of wood or rock. Something to keep in mind after you've moved the wood.

I think you will find the space will seem to be larger with the wood as suggested.

Byron.
