A 10g tank full of plants is sufficient to make the female more comfortable to drop her fry. You will lose fry to predation, wrong equipments albeit strong filters and defective products and poor water quality.

i will get a airpump with a fizz thing attached to it, heater, and cycle tank first. i will put some plants in it too, but mollys are live breeders so...what fry?

2 guys and 2 girls will lead to the females being very stressed with the males trying to breed and this can sometimes lead to the death of the females. If you want 4, and I would put no more than that in a 10g then go for 3 females and 1 male. Always have at least 2 females to every male, 3 females to every male is better.

The breeder kits also are very stresful. Avoid them and use plants instead to allow the fry to hide.

ok thanks man i was thinking of getting 3females and 2 males, i will ignore the breeder kit but i heard if you put marine salt in a molly tank it will be better.
