My Platy is super pregnant and for two days so far you can see the babies eyes in her belly. Since 5 pm she has been randomly twitching/shaking left and right occasionally. She looks pretty boxy I think. She is also being nippy at the other two platies in the tank when they get near her. There is plenty of plants for the fry to hide in. How much longer can she have? How long can a Platy be in labor for?
Still no fry....
How much longer do you think it can be? I've been able too see their eyes for 3 nights now. I'm so anxious for her! :)
hope everything goes well. from what i understand livebearers take about 29 days to give birth. though if you can see the eyes i am sure it will be any day now. it takes anywhere up to 12 hours for her to have all her babies.
