Starting a South American tank....Few questions first

I saw an adult green terror and decided that I want one. I have an empty 75 gallon that i'll be making into a south american cichlid tank. My main fish will be the green terror. What else can I put in with him and what stocking order would be necessary? Fish that are available to me are:
-Convict
-Jaguar
-Texas
-Severum
-Earth Eaters
-Midas
-Firemouth
-Salvini (sp?)
-Oscar (I know they'll get too big for the tank, but I'm OK with getting a 125 when the time comes.)

I was also considering some cherry, tiger barbs, and tinfoil barbs. These would go in first when the cichlids are small, and if they get eaten as their tankmates grow, so be it.

Thanks for the help!

Convicts, Texas, Midas (you can't be sure as this is confused with red devils), Firemouths and Salvinis are Central American cichlids. Sev would be just the cichlid I'd keep with the green terror provided the green terror tries not to bully it severely. The tank is too small for a group of tinfoil barbs. The other barbs will be eaten in no time.

Thanks Lupin. It's been a while since I've been on here. Did you ever get that hillstream tank going again? I think I remember you saying that you had some problems with it.

It's the temperature that makes keeping coldwater fish a problem really. I eventually used the tank for several botiine loaches. Thanks for asking.:)

You could try drilling it and making a little sump for it with a fan. No reason you can't apply saltwater techniques to fresh water! :!:
