I have 2 firemouths in a 30 gallon long tank just got them a week ago. They have big caves with lots of hiding spaces. The problem with them is one of them is pretty aggressive towards the other and getting a lil bit worried i am pretty sure they are both males but not totally positive one is a little brighter than other but i think its was from stress because they were both the same color when i got them. I am just wondering if i should seperate them or just wait it out any advice would help thanks alot

hello and welcome to tfk, you may want to try posting this in the main section of the forums under fresh water fish where more members would be likely to see it and help/advise you

Can you post a pic of your tank and the fish? What are the dimensions of the 30 long? Firemouths are very hard to sex. Generally the males have a more pointed anal fin but this is not a sure fire way to sex them. If there are aggression issues you may want to remove one.
