Not exactly disease Ok so, heres the deal I cant keep my fish anymore cuz my mom wont let me so. and giving them away is out of the question unless someone lives near birmingham alabama and wants two emerald corys and one dwarf gourami. but if no one wants them, then, ive got a pond near my house and my mom wants to go dump them there. so, because there south american fish 1. They'd have a negative effect on the pond because their not indignious. and 2. They wouldnt survive...Right? or wrong? If the pond's not a good idea, then should i just euthanize them with cold water? cuz ive heard thats humane. Help!! |

Of course you can't release them. That is not ever a good thing to do, when you are introducing species that are not native to an area. Tell your mom you'd like to place an ad on Craigslist (it's free) or donate them to a petstore that may take them for you. There are many options, even Petsmart has a board that you could pin a flyer on that you are looking for good homes for them. That's just wrong and cruel to dump them. Tell your mom to give you some time to get them placed. Gwen |
ahh if i was closer than MA i would deffently take the corys.sorry :( |
