I have a hard time getting a pic of them, but I did post some in my Aquarium Log. If anyone can take a look and tell me the type of cichlids they are, I would appericate it. They are all from petsmart, and they do not seem to know much about their fish.
The first and last fish are bumblebee cichlids(Pseudotropheus crabro) and the middle pic is of a kenyi(Metriaclima lombardoi). These two species are highly aggressive fish. I wouldn't keep them in anything less than a 75 and with a ratio of atleast 4 females to every male.
Thanks a lot, the first and last is the same pic, i have had some trouble getting a pic of my other one, Ill post it in here asap.
my 3rd cichlid
can anyone tell me the breed of cichlid this is, or do u need a better pic?
Possibly a young Pseudotropheus socolofi or a Pseudotropheus cyaneorhabdos as I see a bit of blue showing up.
There are others it could be but it's a little young to say for sure. Once it matures a bit more would be easier to tell. There is no obvious barring at the moment
thank you, it seems as it is a Pseudotropheus cyaneorhabdos then, based on comparison of google picture to being able to look directly at the fish. He is a tough one to photograph, and he is deffinatly a darker blue than the photo above shows.
