Why has my Opaline Gourami changed color?

My male Opaline Gourami has changed color recently. He's turned a much darker blue color, sometimes won't eat and jumps and splashes. My mollies and killies seem happy and fine, so I don't think it's a water issue. Does anyone have any ideas? He's the only Gourami in the tank. Maybe he needs a girlfriend?!

As odd as he's behaving, he's still better than my cat who just came in and put a dead rabbit in my shoe!

We need a bit more information concerning your tank situation, a color differential change could be a broad range of things, typically it is an indicator of stress but without this critical information we can't identify the problem, from the given information and picture it seems as if it's a natural color change though, so I wouldn't worry
