New tank, and would like to know inverts

Just got my 125gal tank, and I have no idea what way I want to go with stocking it. I do know I will have some bottom dwellars, but what are great invert to stock to help with keeping the tank clean?

Red Cherry Shrimp would do real nice! Personally I prefer Cory's they are like the cleaning crew of the bottom ahhaa.

Well I do plan on having larger cichlids, like Oscars and such. So Cory's are more efficient than plecos and inverts?

Well Cory's will eat everything...I don't know about them being more efficient than Pleco's....their quite efficient and that's just one....if you had more than one omg! hahaa

I do know that my Cory's don't leave much left at the bottom.

If you are going to get larger chichilds they might not do well with the small corys because they might just eat them....same with the danios but those are just starter fish. At that point you might just wanna go a catfish and /or pleco of some kind.

pick a theme / biotope... something that will get along together. 125 gals is rather large. I usually say a species only tank, but this one seems like you are building a community tank.

Community tanks are typically not invert friendly as they have omnivores and or predators in them. Find out what you want as a display fish and I would choose among different fish in that region, or go species only.
