| jdiaz | 03-12-2012 06:24 PM | Fish scared of lights? Soo, I want to turn my second 29 into a saltwater but I think I am going to wait a bit before that.
Well straight to the point, I got a new light for the tank and know the fish are hiding at the top corner.
The fish are with a bunch of fry, witch for I just set up a second tank and put a bunch of then in there (20 gallon long) but the thing is the fry will move around in the tank without a prob. Its just the adults, 2 Gold Dust Lyretail Mollies and 1 Black molly and 1 Silver molly. The light is a pretty bright light, T8 rated at 10,000k, witch is for a marine tank (wanting to start the saltwater tank). I know that the light will give problems with the algae but I don't care I can clean the tank every day. There is plants for what the light is so strong too. There is an anubia and some other plant with some java moss. I know that they are pretty low light demanding but I want the best for them. What do you guys think? Is the tank just too bright? |
