Hiya, i think my two guppies are pregnant, but can anyone confirm this? and if so does anyone have any idea when they might drop?

Cheers

Definitely pregnant if ya ask me. That's a pretty big, dark gravid spot on both of them.

we took them photos yesterday, the orange guppy has really squared off today but still no drop. any idea when?

Well, to be honest it's VERY hard to know when. My 1 female has gone preg 5 weeks before dropping, squared off and looking dilated for 4 days, and other times she's preg 4 weeks and drops as soon as she's boxy/squared.

If you move your female to a breeder tank, she will most likely become stressed, and if your females are anything like mine, take LONGER to give birth, or even give birth prematurely.

Another thing, you can usually see the fry's eyes in her gravid area if she's about ready.
