Can anyone assist me? I want sand but will it be better for corys and plecos than rocks?? I am turning my tank into a greek theme, so sand will look good in my tank. Thanks:-D
Sand is good for cory, not so good for pleco.
okay and why?? i feed them sinking algae wafers
I personally believe that peoples concerns about corys and gravel are really overblown. I have kept corys on gravel (eco-complete) and didn't see any problems. I have also kept plecos on both gravel and sand they seam to enjoy both equally. There is no legitimate reason not to keep plecos on sand, most plecos natural habitats are sandy bottomed.
While your responding could I could a Brasiliensis in my 20g I really love them they are my favourite. It will be well cared for and the tank seems big enough. Could I?
