Does anyone know anything about the Agassiz's dwarf cichlid? When I updrade to a bigger tank (38-55 gallons) I was thinking about adding some dwarf cichlids, and I saw these cichlids called Agassiz's dwarf cichlid and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about anything them. Thanks. :fish: |
General summary, similar to most Apistogramma species. Soft, slightly acidic water (crucial for wild fish), best in a pair or preferably a harem. Low light, quiet water, plants, bogwood, leaf litter. Not with other cichlids. Peaceful characins and small catfish are good companions (no catfish if spawning is intended). Byron. |
Thanks Byron, i plan to get a trio (1 male: 2 females) and regarding small catfish, they'll be with crorys, a clown pleco, and a twig cat. |
