Hi there, hope somebody can tell me what kind of floating plant this is? I bought it yesterday and the guy was so busy I did'nt have much of a chance to find out what kind it was. All he said is you can have it as a floater or anchor it to wood or a rock. What ever it is my fish love it!
It looks like Hygrophila corymbosa. If it is, it has a stem, and the cut end should be planted in the substrate. Plant it is the brightest spot in the tank, it needs light.
I think your right, I followed the stem and it has a small root system at the end, so I planted it in the substrate. I've noticed there are a few species of this plant, is there any way to tell what type I have?
