Blue Rainbow fish

Symptoms

The fish has had bug eye for a while but I had treated it for the fungii and it subsided. The problem at the moment is:

A white lump that almost looks like a rip in the fish has appeared on symmetrical sides on the mid part of the fish in line with the spine.

Answers or ideas would be great

Any chance that you can post a picture? If I were to guess, I'd say it's more in the line of something bacterial. Fungal infections are less common and most times fuzzy in appearance.

Yes of course I can, I will get this picture now. As you say the fuzziness of the fungi (aliteration aside) is not my main concern. It is sharp and rugged.

It is not ich, but an actual protrusion of the skin/scales
