Can you help me ID these plants? I got the top ones out of a friends pond and the last my mom brought home from petco
In this photo im wondering about the plant with white on the leaves and the long grass like plant in the back.
The plant with white on it's leaves is not aquatic. Put it in a pot on a windowsill or just throw it out. I'm thinking the grass behind it is mondo grass.. also not aquatic. If these are the ones from Petco maybe you can return them. Looks like the one in the first pic is.. moneywort or penny wort.. something wort lol. The other 2 pics bring way to many plants to mind to take a guess off hand,
I think the first one could be Salvinia molesta
Photo 1, a floating Salvinia I think.
Photo 2, looks like a terrestrial plant, you could try it in an aquarium but be prepared to yank it out if it starts to rot.
Photo 3, looks like Sagittaria subulata.
Photo 4, the mix, all are fine except the green/white leaf plant that is terrestrial.
The third photo I believe the plant was floating when I got it out of the pond, is this ok or should I plant it?
